Louise Findlay-Wilson is the MD and the driving force behind Energy PR. A B2B specialist, she brings a world of big brand experience to the Energy’s clients. Louise is an expert at identifying and 'working' the link between communications and profit. If PR doesn't achieve your business objectives why do it? Is her mantra... Following a career in top 10 PR agencies where she worked with major names such as ASDA, Lombard and NatWest, Louise set up her first PR agency in 1990. Building this up, she sold it to create Energy PR in 1995. Since then she has advised organisations ranging from the BBC, Historic Royal Palaces, Cap Gemini and ING through to St Paul's Cathedral and HSBC. Together with an experienced senior team, Louise has built up Energy PR’s credentials within the brand licensing Industry over the last 6 years. Energy PR has previously promoted Advanstar’s annual industry showcases License International and Brand Licensing Europe to a European audience as well as launching and raising the profile of NPD’s License Tracker service in European markets. Currently Louise and the Energy team work with Twentieth Century Fox Licensing & Merchandising Europe and The Copyrights Group developing and implementing PR strategy across all their brands on a European basis. Energy also work closely with licensing partners such as publishers, retailers, licensees and consultants to make sure that the maximum media coverage is achieved for their clients in both B2B and B2C media. |

Marty Brochstein joined LIMA this year after 12 years as Executive Editor of The Licensing Letter, a New York-based newsletter that covers the global licensing business. He also was Editorial Director of the parent publishing company, EPM Communications. In addition to writing and editing the twice-monthly newsletter, he also compiled the publication’s industry numbers and edited EPM’s other licensing-related publications, including the 5th Edition of International Licensing: A Status Report, and the second edition of The Licensing Letter’s Sports Licensing Report, both published earlier this year. Brochstein was a business journalist for more than 20 years, primarily covering the consumer products and retail industries. Before joining The Licensing Letter, he spent five years as Senior Editor of Television Digest. He is a graduate of Boston University. |
